Guidance for Transitioning between teaching modalities

For TAs who are seeking support for moving in-person discussion sections to a remote format, please refer to the Winter 2022 information page and the remote teaching guide, linked above.

After teaching remotely during the first two weeks of Winter 2022, please plan to work closely with the instructor of record and the other members of the teaching team to discuss important topics like developing community guidelines for classroom interactions and Covid-19 mitigation that adheres to campus policy; planning for access and inclusion when and if students are unable to attend class in person, such as through make-up work or blended synchronous formats; and developing contingency plans for when and if modes of instruction may need to shift throughout the quarter.
